Kevin B. Gilnack

Kevin Gilnack has dedicated his career in advocacy, communications, and nonprofit leadership to uplifting marginalized voices and changing public policy to create a more equitable future.

Kevin is the principal of KG Consulting, which provides public affairs strategy to social justice, equity, and human service driven nonprofit organizations. His current work includes advising Equitable Opportunities Now (EON) and other clients on legislative and regulatory affairs, advocacy strategy, public relations, fundraising, events, and digital and traditional communications.

Kevin served as the first executive director of the Commonwealth Dispensary Association (CDA) from 2014-2017 where he collaborated with operators and Department of Public Health (DPH) officials to open the first medical marijuana dispensaries and represented the industry during the drafting of Question 4 and that ballot question campaign.

In addition to his work with EON and the CDA, Kevin worked as public affairs director for Somerville-based Parenting Journey, political director for NARAL Pro-Choice Mass. (now Reproductive Equity Now), and campaign manager for The Caring Force and public affairs & communications associate at the Providers' Council (Mass. Council of Human Service Providers, Inc.)
